Wow, what a season! 9 months of late night scouting, captain changes and 'who do I leave on the bench?' are over. Firstly, we'd just like to say a huge thank you to all those that not only entered, but joined in the weekly banter on Twitter with us. It was a pleasure to host such an enthralling competition for you all! Martyn, Richard (and his son), and Mark all battled it out for the Shield bragging rights but Mark's pre-season optimism was evidently misplaced. A poor performance in the last week also cost Mark a couple of places to the hardworking Shaun Curran and Darren Love who were on his heels all the way. Resurgence of the season goes to Wayne Evans who found himself in the bottom 4 at Christmas but managed to climb into the top half on the last day. Sadly, Mark Rimmer of Trade1st couldn't hold onto the top spot that he held at the beginning of the season, as Take it N'Gog romped home to victory to take the crown. It was also a season to forget for Martin Gallacher and MG Decor who found himself in the bottom 2 for 23 of the 38 weeks and ultimately finished last in 40th place. Now that the season is over, we can all relax, put our feet up and enjoy a fantasy football stress free couple of months. Until we return again in August, of course...
